Journey to the northernmost reaches of NEPA for a cold one at this popular craft brewery in Susquehanna. Iron Horse Brewing Company opened its doors in 2019. And ever since, the small riverside town has been catching on to the craft beer buzz. Iron Horse is a classic neighborhood craft brewpub. The brewery also serves a full menu of delicious, beer-inspired dishes. You can get it all from wings and pizza to burgers, sandwiches, salad and so much more.
The brewery’s Main Street location offers plenty of convenient parking and walkability. The comfortably, rustic interior features a wide-open dining space, a gorgeous bar, and an incredible mural depicting the nearby Starrucca Viaduct. Warm wood finishes and stone work compliment the soft glow of industrial, pendant lights. Overall, Iron Horse offers a cozy space designed just right for a family dinner, date night or a beer lovers escape.
Iron Horse Brewing features a solid lineup of brewery-fresh craft beers. The tap list covers the whole spectrum from IPAs and Blondes to rich Stouts and Porters. You’ll even occasionally find a sour in the mix. Stop in for some grub and a few pints of ice cold, local beer. And, if you like what you’re drinking, grab a 4-pack to go.
