Formerly the Evergreen Park Golf Course, the ForEvergreen Nature Preserve is a 42-acre property that has returned to its wild, natural state. This peaceful nature preserve features a one-mile loop trail through the forests and meadows. The smooth gravel pathways and gentle inclines make it an easy, family-friendly walk. Leashed dogs are welcome.

One of the must-see highlights is the bald eagle nest. A viewing area provides some of the best spots to see these majestic birds.

Brodhead Creek flows along the border of the preserve, offering some of the most pristine trout waters in the area. Catch-and-release fly fishing is permitted with a license.

The ForEvergreen Nature Preserve is also home to the Brodhead Creek Heritage Center, which boasts a nature museum and local art exhibits. It also includes offices of the Brodhead Watershed Association and the Pocono Heritage Land Trust. These nonprofits frequently host events at the center, like family programs, guided walks, and environmental workshops.
