Scranton’s Free Monthly Self-Guided Art Walk of the Downtown District

Come to Downtown Scranton for First Friday Scranton, an event dedicated to celebrating the works of local artists. Held year round, First Friday Scranton is an art walk that features a variety of art mediums inside some of the city’s best restaurants, boutiques, businesses and galleries.

Offering a spotlight for area artists, participants can expect to see photography, paintings, and sculptures, all while enjoying live music performances at some of the city’s most popular restaurants and cafés.

First Friday Scranton lasts from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and visitors are free to explore the venues at their leisure. Trolley service is also available along the route and runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
