At the Downtown Dojo Karate Academy in Wilkes-Barre, students are molded into more than just warriors. The Dojo focuses on discipline, honor and respect, and as students’ physical strength grows, so does their character. The Dojo is a family-run business, and students quickly become a part of the family as well.

The Dojo offers instruction for children, teens, and adults. Students can practice traditional martial art forms combined with the use of Okinawa weapons. Self-defense classes are also available for women and children.
