Sweet Blessings from Tree to Table

Syrup making is a labor of love at Burke’s Maple Farm in Carbondale, where they use tradition to get that delicious golden syrup from the tree to your table. Visit the farm year-round to indulge your sweet tooth with maple candies, glazed walnuts, caramelized popcorn, and other maple-inspired goodies. Their products are also available at area farmer’s markets, and they often set up stands at local events and markets.

Maple season is short, lasting about four to six weeks in late winter and early spring, when the temperatures are just right to get the sap flowing. During the season, Burke’s Maple Farm often hosts open house events where you can tour the sugarhouse.
