Just across the Pennsylvania and New York border at the Binghamton Zoo, you’ll find leopards, lemurs and a two-toed sloth.
You’ll see crocodiles, pythons and scorpions as well as bald eagles, black vultures and penguins. Activities at the zoo include an educational animal meet and greet, face painting, penguin feeding, and tortoise racing. You can give your feet a rest at the Ross Park Amphitheater, where you can enjoy one of the many scheduled programs, or hop on the Binghamton Zoo Express for a train ride throughout the zoo.
The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is open from early spring through late fall. Many zoo attractions are subject to changes in weather. Be sure to contact the zoo ahead of your visit or check for updates on social media.
