Named one of the top five parks in the East by Transworld Snowboarding magazine, Big Boulder Ski Resort in Lake Harmony was the first commercial ski resort in Pennsylvania. The mountain offers thrill seekers a 475-foot vertical rise from base to summit and 15 exciting trails, including 5 terrain parks and snow tubing lanes. And there’s no need to wait in line to get back up the mountain since Big Boulder operates 10 lifts, including triples, doubles, and carpet lifts for tubing.

The resort’s expert staff provides group and private lessons daily for children and beginners or for those just looking to practice. Affordable ski, snowboard, and locker rentals are available, and they even offer a tuning and repair shop.

When the mountain fun ends, head inside to one of the retail shops to pick up some Big Boulder gear or warm up in one of the resort’s many restaurants. And don’t forget, lift tickets also grant you access to the slopes at Jack Frost Ski Resort, Big Boulder’s partner resort only ten minutes to the north.
