Behm’s Family Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and takeout six days a week. A staple in Schuylkill County for the past 50 years, this American family-style eatery began as a gas station and garage that served only burgers.

Over the years, the menu has been extended to include soups, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, steaks, seafood, pasta, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday specials.

Menu Highlights

All-day breakfast features traditional favorites like eggs, New York steak, bacon, chipped beef, French toast, ham scram, toast, omelets, and ham and egg sandwiches. For lunch, try ordering the customer favorite Behm’s Burger, which is a ½ lb. Black Angus deluxe burger on a Kaiser roll with French fries and a drink. Other hot sandwich offerings include cheese steak, crab cake, grilled cheese, meatball, and jumbo hot dogs.

Dinner options are aplenty and include the popular 18-ounce ribeye, chicken (i.e., honey-dipped, nuggets, filet, fingers), liver and onions, roast beef, pork chops, spaghetti and meatballs, and assorted seafood offerings like cod, crab cake, shrimp, and scallops.
