Regional Resources
Calling NEPA home means having access to the best community resources and organizations.
For those looking to live, work or even own a business in Northeastern Pennsylvania, it’s great to know that you will be part of a larger, supportive community. With an extensive list of business networks, trade associations, public resources and community organizations, it’s comforting to know that help or even just some good advice is always close at hand.
Business Resources
Here in NEPA we take great pride in our many business-friendly communities and the incredible resources they provide.
If you’re building a business from the ground up, moving or expanding your successful business from out of state, or if you just need a little help bolstering your existing business, consider a membership with one of NEPA’s excellent Chambers of Commerce, Business Networks and Trade Associations. Businesses will find great value beyond the cost of membership.
NEPA Chambers of Commerce
NEPA’s chambers of commerce are some of the finest in the nation and have played a critical role in the diversification of the region’s economy. Together with local not-for-profit industrial development corporations, the chambers built some of the first business parks and speculative shell buildings in the United States. They’ve championed the rebirth of the area since the end of the coal mining industry after World War II.
Membership in NEPA chambers will give you unparalleled access to a wide variety of services and activities to help you grow your business. No other organizations offer the same level of networking opportunities. Whether it be by attending a chamber business card exchange, annual luncheon, or dinner, or serving on one of many committees, your involvement will allow you to engage with all of the key business leaders in your community.
NEPA’s chambers are on the forefront of workforce development. They work closely with our 18 higher education institutions, employers, and PA CareerLink offices to ensure that programs are in place to train Northeastern Pennsylvania’s residents so they have the skills needed to fill available positions. The chambers also sponsor job fairs to match employers with candidates.
Your membership will give you exclusive access to many chamber programs and seminars to help your business thrive. These include leadership and training seminars, cost saving benefits, business promotion ideas, grants, loans, and tax credits, entrepreneurship programs, and business forums and educational sessions. A chamber membership will also help open doors to your local, state, and federal legislators.
Please consider joining an award-winning NEPA chamber today.
