The Northeast PA Pet Rescue & Fund is a foster-based animal rescue in the Scranton area. Since their inception in 2013, they’ve saved over 1,400 homeless dogs and cats. They live by their core values of respect, integrity, love, trust, accountability and liability.

The Northeast PA Pet Rescue & Fund takes in local owner surrenders, pulls animals from shelters and transports at-risk dogs from the South. They place each animal in a foster family that provides the love and care they need until they’re ready to be adopted. Animals that are unadoptable due to age, medical conditions or trauma receive a permanent home at the rescue.
