JOIN THE GREATER SCRANTON YMCA ON JULY 16TH AS WE PARTICIPATE IN THE 11TH ANNUAL WORLD’S LARGEST SWIMMING LESSON!
Did you know that participation in formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning among children ages 1-4 by up to 88%? Learning to swim is a life-saving skill that every person should learn no matter their age. WHAT: World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™! To ensure for proper social distancing, the program is limited to the first 25 children who register.
WHEN: Thursday, July 16th, 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: Greater Scranton YMCA – 706 N. Blakely Street, Dunmore, PA 18512

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Participants should arrive 20 minutes early to allow for time to change and register at the desk located in the pool area. At the conclusion of the event, all participants will receive a “WLSL Team Member” certificate and our facility’s participants will be counted toward breaking last year’s Guinness World Record!
