Celebrate Earth Month with Community Cleanups happening throughout the month of April. The Valley Community Library and the NEPA Sierra Club have partnered with Keep PA Beautiful and other area organizations to pick up litter, do a litter study, and hold conversations about litter prevention, our environment and our community.

On Thursday, April 20th the Valley Community Library and the NEPA Sierra Club are partnering with the Girl Scouts to clean up around Sarah Bratty Park and the Winton area in Jessup. This event is family friendly and best for kids 8 and older. There is limited parking in the direct area, no sidewalks and a small side streets they will be walking on and cleaning up along with wooded areas.

Supplies will be provided by Keep PA Beautiful, but if you have gloves from last year please bring them. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bright colors.
