Manhattan School of Music graduate Ron Oswanski performed with some of the most renowned jazz and contemporary music musicians, including Maynard Ferguson, Blood Sweat and Tears, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Oz Noy, and more. He leads projects on Hammond b3, accordion, and keyboards. Since 1992, You can find Ron in numerous cutting-edge jazz clubs and concert venues on the New York City jazz scene.
University of Miami graduate Marko Marcinko joined Maynard Ferguson in 1996, touring the US, Europe, South America, Canada, and Asia while recording for Concord Records. For over 15 years, Marko performed as a member of the NEA Jazz Master Dave Liebman Group and The Dave Liebman Big Band, with many awards and Grammy nominations. Marko is also a master clinician/educator and the director of Jazz Studies at Penn State University. He is a Yamaha, Zildjian, Vic Firth, and Aquarian Drum Heads endorser.
Dave Riekenberg came to New York City in 1987 after two and a half years in the North Texas State University 1:00 Lab Band, and a three and a half year stint with Woody Herman and the Thundering Herd. While traveling with the Herd, Dave had the opportunity to perform as a featured soloist alongside Dizzy Gillespie, Al Cohn, Nancy Wilson, Joe Williams, and Anita O’Day. Dave joined Blood, Sweat, and Tears upon arriving in New York and toured with the group for eight years. Still, Dave performed with Maria Schneider, Bill Warfield, the Vanguard Orchestra, Steve Gadd, Randy Brecker, Jimmy Cobb, and numerous others.
