Join a Hawk Mountain educator and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy for a guided hike to our famous North Lookout, the site of the world’s longest running raptor migration count. Take in the scenic view and learn about the importance of the Kittatinny Ridge for bird migration and raptor conservation, while discovering the history and hiking magic of the Appalachian Trail. During the hike, we will also focus on Leave No Trace principles, as well as the value of the Kittatinny Ridge as a state and Global Important Bird Area and its connections to the Wild East.
Binoculars are available to borrow. All ages welcome!
