First Friday Wine Tastings
“One night, two great classes”
A Deep Dive 6:00-7:30 PM
This series will grow your wine knowledge and educate your palate. Our wine specialist will guide you through an in-depth tour of five wines per class. Topics will include terroir, the wine making process, growing regions, proper tasting techniques, varietal identification and more. Each series will have a centralized theme. If you’re feeling extra “wine-tastic” please join us for our more casual wine tasting following this event at 8:30pm.
Courses can be taken individually or as a full series. Those who complete the entire series will receive a certificate of completion.
Current Series: Old World Wines
May 7th – Sparkling – We kick off with bubbles to celebrate our return!
June 4th – Italy – We will travel throughout the country.
July 2nd – France – In the month where we celebrate our nation’s birth we explore the ally who gave us Lady Liberty.
August 6th – Portugal – There is so much more to explore than port, we explore how the area influences winemaking.
September 3rd – Spain – Jay’s current favorite country to explore. We explore the importance of oak in famous Spanish regions.
October 1st – Germany/Austria/Slovenia – Tradition and innovation as we explore these countries.
$50/person for individual classes.
$250/person for the entire 6-part series.

Skimming the Surface 8:30-10:00 PM
For this event you will enjoy four carefully selected wines as our wine expert guides you through the tasting process. Light fare will be served along with some lively conversation. This is a casual event focused on fun and enjoyment as well as gaining some basic wine knowledge. If you are interested in a more in-depth wine class, please consider joining us for our “Deep Dive” series held just before this event at 6pm.
May 7th – “No Way Rose” – An evening of pink dry wines.
June 4th – “LKV” – Lesser know varietals will be explored.
July 2nd – “Bright Whites” – Bright, acidic refreshing white wines for summer.
August 6th – “Old World Blends” – Wine history revolves around blends, we explore them.
September 3rd – “When Oak Matters” – We explore how Oak is used to skillfully alter wines.
October 1st – “Autumnal Favorites” – Explore wines that match up well with Fall and the upcoming holiday season.
