Join the Friends of Beltzville, and park staff, as they hike from the Beltzville State Park Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC) to the tower on top of the dam, culminating in a scenic view of Beltzville Lake. This hike provides a means for individuals and families to welcome the coming year in the outdoors, exercising and connecting with nature. Furthermore, exercise and outdoor activities rejuvenate the mind and body, promoting overall mental and physical health, and wellness. Many believe that time spent in nature enhances creativity, and lifts our moods!

This is a dog friendly hike, and well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome to attend. This hike is approximately 3.5 miles in length, so plan accordingly, bring plenty of water, and wear warm layers and comfortable footwear. This easy hike has durable gravel, grass, and dirt surfaces.
