Earth Day Celebration
April 15 @ 9:00 AM
Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge
Stroudsburg, PA

Join Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge for a volunteer day of service in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 15th from 9AM-12PM. They will be planting trees and shrubs along the Cherry Creek, removing non-native invasive flora, maintaining their pollinator gardens, and sprucing up the hiking trails. All ages are welcome, but no pets are allowed on the refuge, only service animals. Pastries and coffee will be provided in the morning and they’ll have pizza, sandwiches, or hot dogs for lunch.
This will be a fun and educational family-friendly event that will help build a sense of environmental stewardship in all participants. For those attending the event, they ask that all participants please wear appropriate attire and bring their own gloves if possible (though they’ll have some gloves available to loan out if needed). For questions, please reach out to [email protected] or (978) 440-0280.
