Do you enjoy a scary story? Do you love to read books that are full of mystery, monsters, or will otherwise haunt your dreams? If you answered yes, then the Valley Community Library is hosting a special one time program for you. Chilling Books (for Children) will have fans of terrifying books discovering or rediscovering books that will keep the spooky season of Halloween going long into November. They will read first pages or chapters of select books to highlight and those in attendance are welcome to share their favorite titles and all will enjoy a good discussion. All books featured in this program will be middle-grade books from their Juv Fiction shelves. This program is geared towards kids in grades 3-8th, however it is open to anyone.
