All Together Through the Woods
June 25 @ 10:00 AM
Pinchot State Forest
Moscow, PA

This summer explore our local public lands with the Lackawanna County Library System, the Pennsylvania Sierra Club and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) with “All Together Through the Woods.” On Sunday, June 25th learn about Pinchot State Forest with special guest Julian Maze from DCNR then hike the Roaring Brook and Creekside trails and discover plants and wildlife in the woods. There is often an abundance of birds to see. Fawn Contreras from the Valley Community Library will bring a book for all ages to enjoy as you have a picnic lunch on the bank of the brook. All ages are welcome at this event, the trail is easy with natural paths and some uneven surfaces. The trails are not stroller friendly. Participants should bring their own lunch to enjoy. Registration is required at sierraclub.org/pennsylvania/upcoming-outings.
All Together Through the Woods will promote health literacy and aims to bring people together to enjoy the outdoors and inspire curiosity for all.
Meet at the Market Street Parking Lot in Moscow, PA at 10:00 A.M. This parking lot is small and they encourage people to carpool together if possible.
