Nearly everyone in the world has has someone they know affected by some form of cancer. Age isn’t a limitation. Race isn’t a factor. It’s a disease that strikes everyone and anywhere.
Our father, Richard Musko, was a life-long resident of Plains. He was diagnosed in May 2017 with Stage Four Squamous Cell Head and Neck Carcinoma. Unfortunately, he lost his battle in 2018. We hold this Fun Run in his memory, and the memory of those who’ve lost a loved one to this dreadful disease. Our father never lost hope that this event would be a huge success and become a driving force to raise much-needed funds for cancer research.
You may be unaware of the recent advancements in our own backyard. The Lehigh Valley Hospital Network has expanded their clinical trials, which means local patients will have direct access to Memorial Sloan Kettering! This is a major breakthrough for our area, and we are proud to say that the fun run directly benefits these research and expansion efforts. ALL proceeds are donated. Any donation amount is appreciated; whether monetary, gift card or raffle basket.
The event is for all ages and will hopefully share some colorful hope. Please visit us on Facebook for more information, or email us at [email protected]
Your paid registration will include a t-shirt.
