America’s Oldest Brewery Donates Well-Deserved 6-Packs as Thank You to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill Team.
The legendary brewery gifted 6-packs of FLIGHT by Yuengling, its newest light beer, to all hospital employees, 21 and over.
America’s oldest brewery honors its hometown’s front line of defense against the COVID-19 crisis. This afternoon, Debbie Yuengling, of Pottsville’s D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., stopped by the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill with a heart full of thanks and a truckload of beer.
The Yuengling family, and the entire team at the local brewery offered the gift as appreciation and support for the hospital’s dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Each member of the hospital staff (over the age of 21) received a 6-pack of FLIGHT by Yuengling. The brewery-fresh beer, in classic Pottsville form, serves as a nod from one hard-working team to another. It says, in that blue-collar way, “thanks for having our backs”.
The brewery’s generous gift to the hospital follows an earlier pledge of $100,000 to other COVID-19 relief organizations. Throughout the crisis, Yuengling has partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation and HARP (Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania).
