Whether you’re only in it for the treats, or you just love getting dressed up, Halloween is serious business in Northeastern Pennsylvania. From trick-or-treating with friends when you were younger to rounding up your own kids and their costumes before hitting the streets, the excitement of this time of year never dies.
Now, it’s time to relive the pure, innocent fun of Halloween. Gather the kids with their little plastic pumpkins and pillow cases and get to one of NEPA’s popular, sponsored trick-or-treat events.
Halloween is so much more than just candy and corny jokes.
While trick-or-treating is the pinnacle of Halloween fun, some just want to sit back and enjoy all of the little monsters and their incredible costumes. Today, many communities host family-friendly parades and parties.
From costume contests, spooky activities and festive games, kids and adults alike can enjoy these ghostly good times.

Time for a little grown-up Halloween fun.
Get out those old wigs. Splatter on that gory makeup. Pull the old cheerleading uniform out of the closet — realize it no longer fits and put it back. Nice try, though. Go to the thrift store and pick out a classic 80s outfit. You can find grown-up Halloween fun all over NEPA.
