Downtown Scranton's Spot for Boho-Chic Womenswear

We stopped into The Daisy Collective, a women’s boutique in downtown Scranton, to take a look at all the new styles for this upcoming season. The Daisy Collective has everything from everyday wear to dresses, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and plenty of accessories. Safe to say, a lot caught our attention.

We chatted with owner Maggie Mineo about how Daisy Collective has become a staple of the Electric City and beyond. The Daisy Collective opened its doors in 2013, shortly after Mineo returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania from New York City.

While working in the fashion industry, Mineo realized how much she enjoyed the one-on-one, personalized experiences with the customers. Finding that perfect outfit for her clientele was Mineo’s dream job. Although, she couldn’t help but feel something was missing  — creating that unique bond with the customer. Mineo was craving that “small town feeling.” She decided to make the move back to Scranton and bring The Daisy Collective to life.

Over nearly nine years, Daisy Collective has grown immensely. Mineo is always looking to add new brands and develop the store’s online platform. She finds that the most amazing part of Daisy Collective, however, is the community around her. For Mineo and Store Manager, Kellian Carey, what makes it all so incredibly rewarding is the constant flow of familiar faces stopping in to shop and catch up. That never gets old.

Check out some of The Daisy Collective’s latest styles below.

Light Lace Sleeves

The floral lace detailing on this blouse is perfect for spring! We paired this top with these high-waisted green utility-style pants and black chunky heels, perfect for the upcoming warm weather. Our eyes were drawn to these unique jewelry pieces and purse that take this outfit to the next level.

Sporty Spring Pink

This outfit was all about the Free People details! This Free People windbreaker-style quarter-zip, long-sleeve pink tee and gold slides are perfect for a cooler spring day. This adorable purse and colorful, beaded necklace completed this look.

Soft Tones for Spring

This creme colored blouse paired with these flared blue jeans and suede clogs is a perfect look for early spring. The Daisy Collective has a vast array of earrings to chose from as well as dozens of accessories. We decided this small clutch looked best.

1970's Inspired Floral Jeans

The star of this look is these bright pink, sunflower pants! We knew we couldn’t go wrong pairing these with a soft, yellow tee, a white jean jacket and fun sneakers. This beaded, tassel clutch and yellow headband completed this adorable springtime-look.

The Daisy Collective is located at 328 Penn Avenue in Scranton. Check out their Instagram and Facebook pages for daily updates and new inventory.
