NEPA’s local farmers’ markets feature fresh fruits and vegetables, locally made goods and so much more. And it’s all grown right here in rich Pennsylvania soil.
Besides incredible produce, these markets present the perfect opportunity to get outside, support local food and craft vendors, enjoy live music and mingle with members of your community.

South Abington Twp., PA
Every Saturday starting in mid-July, local farmers line up to spoil the community with farm-fresh produce at South Abington Park. Fill your basket with fruits, veggies, baked goods, maple syrup, flowers, herbs and so much more.
Avoca, PA
Avoca’s Queen of the Apostles Parish hosts local farms, producers and vendors every Wednesday from July through October during their popular farmers market. Enjoy farm-fresh produce, baked goods, arts & crafts vendors and more.
Dallas, PA
Starting in July, this popular Dallas market sets up every Saturday to benefit the Back Mountain Memorial Library . Browse nearly 20 local vendors offering everything from fresh fruits and veggies to baked goods, honey, and so much more. Stop by and fill up your bag for a good cause.
Bloomsburg, PA
Head to the famous Bloomsburg Fairgrounds every Saturday starting in May for this expansive market. Get your fill of fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, meat, local baked goods and homemade pastries.
Carbondale, PA
Swing by the Pioneer City every Thursday for farm-fresh produce, homemade treats and arts & crafts. The Carbondale Farmers Market runs all year round and moves indoors during the winter months. The market also features visiting organizations and weekly children’s activities.
Scranton, PA
From mid-July through Thanksgiving Eve, Scranton locals can fetch their fresh produce at this legendary market on Barring Ave. Find everything from delicious produce, fresh meat and maple syrup to flowers and herbs. Food vendors are also on hand offering plenty of lunch options.
Orangeville, PA
Every other Saturday, Forks Farm holds a market featuring their own grass-fed meats, produce from nearby farms and homemade products from a variety of vendors. When the colder months roll around, be sure to check out their holiday markets.
Hawley, PA
Fridays are all about farm-fresh produce at Bingham Park in Hawley. This popular Pocono market features all locally grown produce, baked goods, cheese, honey, flowers, a Master Gardener’s table and more.
South Abington Twp., PA
Stop by South Abington Township’s family friendly Hillside Park for this producers-only farmers market. Pick up your farm-fresh produce, baked goods, local honey and so much more every Thursday from May through October. The market also runs bi-weekly throughout the winter months.
Tamaqua, PA
Open every Wednesday, you’ll always find what’s in season at Hometown Farmers Market in Tamaqua. In addition to the freshest produce, there are stalls selling fresh-baked goodies, artisans with their homemade wares, a coffee shop and more.
Lehighton, PA
Local producers set up shop every Saturday all season long at the Lehighton Trailhead of the D&L Trail for this popular producer-goods-only market. Look out for fresh fruits and veggies along with specialty items like honey, preserves and peanut butter.

Make your way to The Columns Museum in historic Milford for this spectacular Sunday market. From May through October, this rain or shine farmers market hosts area producers, live music, demonstrations and plenty of food.

Stroudsburg’s Courthouse Square hosts this local favorite farmer’s market on Saturdays from May through October. Look for locally produced fruits and veggies, honey and more. The market also occasionally hosts live entertainment.
Moosic, PA
Montage’s Ski Shack invites local farmers to set up shop in their parking lot to dole out fresh produce and artisan products. Make a pitstop every Friday afternoon through September and support local.
Mountain Top, PA
Stop by Crestwood High School in Mountain Top on Sundays for fresh, local produce, meat, baked goods and more at this popular summer market. The farmer’s market opens for the season in July and runs until October.
Newfoundland, PA
Head to the Carlton Drake Memorial Park on Main St. in Newfoundland every Saturday from July through October for this popular Poconos’ farmers market. The market features fresh, locally-grown produce and plenty of handmade, local crafts.
Pittston, PA
Starting in early July, look for those famous Pittston tomatoes and more every Tuesday at this popular market. Look for delicious, farm fresh produce, dairy, meats and eggs. There are even fun activities for the kids, like story time and puppet shows. You can also pick up local wines, sauces, jams and baked goods.
Scranton, PA

Fill your pantry with local goods and produce from this weekly Tunkhannock market. Stop by the beautiful Creekside Gardens every Saturday throughout the summer for farm fresh produce, dairy and meats. You can also pick up locally sourced eggs, baked goods and honey to name a few.
Wilkes-Barre, PA
Farmers come all the way from Watsonville to the Wyoming Valley Mall to make sure locals get the freshest fruits and vegetables possible. And with homemade bread, honey and desserts to top it off, this is a can’t miss market. Keep an eye out for the tents in the mall’s parking lot every Friday.
Honesdale, PA
Like every great farm stand, you’ll find the freshest seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs. But you can also purchase locally raised meats, eggs and baked goods, too. Homemade and home crafted items like soaps, candles and jewelry are part of this market held in the parking lot next to Dave’s Super Duper Super Market every Saturday from mid-May through October.
Wilkes-Barre, PA
Beginning in late June, Wilkes-Barre’s Public Square will be home to dozens of produce stalls, live music, children’s activities and so much more. This popular market runs every Thursday, rain or shine. And don’t miss a full line up of live, local music, and plenty of food.
Tunkhannock, PA
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from late July until Thanksgiving farm-fresh produce can be found at this roadside market located next to Keystone Truck Caps & Accessories.
