You’ve had all summer to practice—now it’s time to test your skills at the Back Mountain Chamber Cornhole Tournament. This outdoor, socially distanced event will be at the Irem Temple Pavilion in Dallas on Sunday, September 27. Registration starts at noon, and the competition begins at 1 p.m.

The tournament will have a double-elimination format with three different divisions: competitive, intermediate and backyard. Bring your A-game, because there’s over $1,000 worth of prizes on the line:

Competitive Division

1st Place: $325
2nd Place: $200
3rd Place: $75

Intermediate Division

1st Place: $150
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $50

Backyard Division

1st Place: $50, free entry to future NEPA Cornhole tournament and 2 NEPA t-shirts
2nd Place: $40
3rd Place: $30

NEPA Cornhole will run the tournament and provide all the equipment. Each team can have two people, and all players must be 16 or older.

Bring a chair and kick back for a whole day of fun. In addition to the tournament, there will be food trucks onsite, including B3Q Smokehouse, Crabby Ron’s Food Shack, Southwest Savory Grill and Trisha’s Treats. The Irem Shriners will set up a cash bar with mixed drinks, beer, wine and soft drinks. Try your luck at the basket raffle and 50/50 drawings on the hour.

Organizers are hard at work to keep everyone safe and healthy during the event. The tournament will follow all CDC and state guidelines. All attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Family Hearing Center will provide hand sanitizers and gloves to all participants, and sanitizing tables will be available.

The tournament is capped at 100 teams, so make sure to save your spot. Registration is currently open. The cost is $50 per team for pre-registration and $60 per team the day of the event (please note that day-of registration will be cash only).
