A Decadent Culinary Tour at Kalahari Resorts
We were recently invited to an evening of cocktails and cuisine at Kalahari Resorts in the Poconos. We stopped at B-Lux Grill and Bar, Cinco Niños, Sortino’s Italian Kitchen, and Double Cut Steak House to see what they had to offer.
First, we visited B-Lux Grill & Bar – a luxurious take on the classic burger joint. We came for The Cheese Head, a juicy burger topped with Yuengling beer battered cheese curds. And we stayed for the mesmerizing demo of their famous Donut Shake. They also offered a delicious Impossible Burger as a vegetarian option.
Next, we ventured a little south of the border to Cinco Niños. The popular tequila bar and restaurant dished out cheesy Chicken Quesadillas alongside Loaded Birria Fries. Of course, we had to wash it all down with a tasty Chili Mango Margarita.
Then it was a trip to the Mediterranean at Sortino’s Italian Kitchen. We perked up with an Espresso Martini and enjoyed a slice of Margherita Pizza. We also sampled the delicious Three-Cheese Tortellini with roasted mushrooms.
Double Cut Steak House was our last stop. We found room in our stomachs once we saw the tomahawk steak on the Cattleman’s Board. Live piano music and a warm fire invited us to sit down with a smoked old fashioned in hand.
Finally, they carted in an assortment from The Last Bite Candy and Ice Cream Shoppe. A variety of treats coated in house-made caramel were ours to enjoy.
