If you’re looking for breathtaking views and beautiful scenery, then look no further than the Dick & Nancy Eales Nature Preserve. We stopped by this nature lover’s gem in Jessup to check out the popular Blueberry Trail.

The trail leads you on a 3.4-mile journey through the “barrens” of Moosic Mountain. We carved our way through dense pine and oak forests dominated by wild blueberry bushes and floral underbrush. As you twist and turn along the trail, it provides a glimpse of Pennsylvania’s northeastern corner vista. The preserve makes for the perfect place for birdwatching, hiking and mountain biking.

Insider tip: a sunset or sunrise hike offers the opportunity to snap some incredible, Instagram-worthy photos.
