Picture This: Springtime at McDade Park

We Found Signs of Spring in Scranton

We couldn’t resist getting out of the house for a bit and stretching our legs at McDade Park in Scranton. This 180-acre park offers a walking path with plenty of scenery.

Along the way, we stopped by the fishing pond and walked under the arches of the arboretum. The clear skies and budding leaves made for a perfect spring day.

McDade Park is one of four Lackawanna County parks that reopened earlier in May. The county asks all visitors to follow social distancing guidelines. Take a look at our photos and find a park near you to enjoy some time in nature.
