Picture This: Ribbon Cutting Unveils New Overnight Cabins at YMCA’s Camp Kresge

New, Heated Cabins Offer Option for Year-Round Camp Experience

Today, we attended the Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA’s ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of their seven newly-constructed cabins at Camp Kresge. The cabins are ADA accessible, climate controlled and are large enough to sleep 16 campers comfortably. And if you have any concerns about privacy, no worries, these cabins come equipped with a sliding partition wall allowing you to divide the space in two.

Camp Kresge is located in White Haven, PA and has been connecting families with nature since 1953. They offer a multitude of outdoor educational programming including Day & Overnight Summer Camps, Children’s Camping Weekends, Blue Sky Outdoor Education Field Trips, Parent/Child Weekends, Family Camps, Rentals, and Retreats.

The additional cabins are part of the camp’s larger “Camp for All” project that has been underway over the last twenty years and also included the construction of the Arts Village, pavilion, the health lodge, and other improvements.

We were happy to get a sneak peak of their new design and of course we brought the camera along for the ride. Enjoy!
