Local Art and Music Fill the City Streets
Downtown Pittston shows off its creative side every month at the Second Friday Art Walk. The pandemic delayed the 2020 season, but this outdoor arts festival started up again in July.
Second Friday celebrates all things local. The hub of the activity is on South Main Street, in the heart of town. NEPA artists sell their work and wares on the sidewalks, while musicians roam through the streets. The downtown shops, restaurants and galleries stay open late so visitors can explore all that the city has to offer.
We couldn’t help but soak up the sounds of the music and admire all the artwork, jewelry and locally made treats. Check out our photos from last month and check out the Second Friday Facebook page for the August lineup.
