New Axe Throwing Range Opens on July 31

The city of Scranton is getting its first-ever axe throwing range this weekend. Electric City Axe Throwing will host a grand opening on Saturday, July 31. The facility is owned and operated by Sam Williams and Jose Bataller, two local Marine Corps veterans.

Axe throwing is a thrilling, adventurous sport that nearly anyone can join. You don’t even need experience. The coaches at Electric City Axe Throwing will teach you how to safely throw the axe and give you some tips on how to stick those bullseyes.

Electric City Axe Throwing will also be BYOB (beer and wine only). Guests are welcome to bring their own food too.

We stopped to get a sneak peek at the range. Check out our photos and plan your visit. Electric City Axe Throwing is located at 1141 Capouse Avenue in Scranton. Reservations can be made online.
