Picture This: An Afternoon at Lake Scranton

Take a Walk Along the Shore With Us

The Lake Scranton Walking Trail is a 3.8-mile loop just minutes outside the Electric City. It’s always been a peaceful spot for walkers and runners, and during social distancing, it’s helping visitors relax and reconnect with nature when they need it most.

We went out on a sunny spring day to enjoy the sights. The trail offered great views of the water and the forests that surround the shore.

All portions of the trail are currently open. Visitors are asked to remain in the pedestrian lanes and respect social distancing guidelines. Check out our photos to take a little sightseeing tour from home. Or find a trail near you to plan your own outdoor adventure.
