“If you don’t eat your vegetables, you’ll have dessert instead!” This is the mantra for Amapharm, a German-owned producer of gummy vitamins, that opened their first US facility in Drums, PA last year. Founded in 1977, Amapharm was the first company to produce gummy vitamins in 1996 and has been growing their dedicated team ever since. They are now looking to hire enthusiastic team-players at their new plant. When you work at Amapharm, you are joining a team working to make a difference! Amapharm doesn’t just produce products that support the health of families around the world, they give back to the global community through a partnership with humanitarian aid organization Vitamin Angels. They have also committed to the UN Global Compact Corporate Responsibility Initiative supporting human rights, safe labor practices, environmentally sustainable production, and anti-corruption actions.
As a new company in the area, Amapharm partnered with PA CareerLink® for two hiring events that supported 31 community members with their search for employment. They have posted open positions on the PA CareerLink® website for shipping and receiving operators, production employees, logistics supervisors, packaging associates, technical managers and more!
