Texting Services Also Now Available Through Pilot Program
As part of a strategic effort to prioritize accessibility of services for job seekers and employers, the PA CareerLink® Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties launched brand new local websites. The effort aims to better meet our community members where they are – online in the digital workspace. While the state website is still active and helpful, the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Development Board has made it possible to learn more about resources specific to your local office as funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). You can simply visit our landing pages by county and go from there. Check them out.
The user-friendly platforms serve as one-stop information hubs.
The new websites feature each office’s team members, programs and services, and easy-to-access online resources. There’s also a news page featuring upcoming job fairs, workshops, and employer webinars. We also provide an events calendar and real-time updates on office operations in response to COVID-19.

Now, our customers are one click away from everything PA CareerLink® has to offer!”
In addition to the new websites, PA CareerLink® is also piloting several texting initiatives to instantly connect job seekers with opportunities on their phone.
