Posted: December 9, 2020
Please Note: Due to recent increases in COVID-19 cases throughout the Commonwealth, newly updated health and safety guidelines may affect local events. We advise you to confirm directly with event organizers prior to attending.
Light Up Your Holidays at These Dazzling Lights Displays Throughout NEPA
Hop in the car and head out in search of the region’s most awe-inspiring holiday displays.
Homes on every street light up with thousands of meticulously-placed bulbs. Some dazzle with pure white, twinkling icicles dangling from the eves. Others catch your eye with vivid multi-color lights strewn throughout the ornamental shrubbery. Snoopy, Woodstock and even a few Minions have made their way onto porch roofs. And, of course, some still celebrate old school style with vintage, plastic blow molds of snowmen, candles and carolers.
All over NEPA, you’ll find a radiant light show around every corner.
December welcomes a special kind of quiet, and a clarity that allows the heart to swell with nostalgia. In the distance, a neighbor’s musical display quietly chimes Let it Snow. The tune carries effortlessly through the still, cold night. Somewhere in your mind, the smell of cookies baking in warm ovens lingers. And, if you listen long enough, you can even hear the sound of scissors gliding through wrapping paper.
Yes, the senses know Christmas, and they’re giving you a hint. Load up that car, throw some candy canes in your pocket, fill a thermos with hot chocolate and crank up them Christmas songs.
We’re going cruising for NEPA’s best Christmas lights displays.
