Wrap up July with Live Music, Lots of Food and a Little Yoga

The last weekend of July is bursting with tons of outdoor family fun. Light up your Friday night at Blue Mountain Resort’s awesome Night Zip & Climb in Palmerton. Haggle for some great deals on Sunday at the Circle Drive-In’s massive Flea Fair. Know your local history? Join the Luzerne County Historical Society on Sunday for Road Rally in the Valley.

Squeeze in a quick run for a great cause. Sign up for the James D. Hill Run to Read Virtual 5K. The race runs throughout the weekend.

Celebrate the dog days of summer with some live, local music. Rockin’ the County rolls through Nanticoke on Friday. Jam out with Rhythm & Brews in the beer garden at ShawneeCraft Brewing on Friday. Or, head out to the popular Lakeland Orchard & Cidery in Scott Twp. for a whole weekend of live music.

Feed the soul with some Blues, Brews & BBQ at The Ledges Hotel in Hawley on Sunday night. Or, mix it up at the Irem Pavilion in Dallas. Explore a long list of dining options at their Food Truck Friday event.

 Finally, take some time to center yourself. Stop by Wilkes-Barre’s River Common for some Riverfront Yoga on Saturday Morning. Then meditate your way through the rest of the weekend at Montage Mountain’s epic NEPA Yoga Festival.

    Follow the Rockin’ the County flatbed to Nanticoke for the sweet sounds of Woodstock with the Husty Brothers and Ellie Rose. Enjoy live music from a safe social distance as the rolling concert rocks its way through town.

    July 31 at 4 p.m.

    Climb, zip and swing your way through the trees at Blue Mountain Resort’s Summit Aerial Park after dark. Light up the mountain at the Palmerton resort with laser lights, glowsticks and live music.

    July 31 & August 2
