Keep That Holiday Spirit Going All Weekend with Dazzling Lights Displays and a Virtual Christmas Classic
Start the holiday weekend with a visit to two of NEPA’s most festive neighborhoods. Visit the famous Peckville Christmas House for a drive-thru, or walk-through experience. Then, make your way to Scranton ‘s South Side for the ever-popular Christmas Light House.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of opening gifts and holiday ham and enjoy a Christmas evening cruise to several local lights displays. Stop by the Festival of Lights at Stone Hedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock. Check out the Holiday Lights Spectacular at Scranton’s Nay Aug Park. Head over to Marywood University and check out the Light Up Campus Display. Then, roll on down Berwick’s delightful Christmas Boulevard.
Tune in to WVIA-TV to catch Friday and Sunday showings of the Scranton Civic Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker. And, if you still got that shopping bug, stop by the Christmas Village at Knoebels Amusement Resort on Saturday and Sunday.
While you’re at Knoebels on Saturday and Sunday, don’t forget to drive through their Joy Through the Grove holiday lights display. You can also check out the Light the Night drive-thru display at Sugarloaf Golf Club. And, if you’d prefer to take a stroll, do it under the stunning Forest of Lights at Tall Pines Players Club in Friendsville.

The Festival of Lights at Stone Hedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock is nothing short of Christmas magic. This massive drive-through light display is about 2.5 miles long. Snap some pictures in the photo op area or warm up at the socially distanced s’mores pits.

Enjoy stunning light displays at this festive holiday tradition at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. Drive through a true holiday wonderland of twinkling lights and moving displays.

Light the Night at Sugarloaf
Weekends through December at 5 p.m. (Closed December 24 & 25)
Get in the holly jolly spirit at Sugarloaf Golf Club. Their first-ever walk-through holiday light display will make you feel like you’re in the North Pole. Stick around for seasonal food and drinks, s’mores and other socially-distanced family activities.

Tall Pines Forest of Lights
Daily Through December 31 (Closed December 24 & 25)
Pack up the car and drive through this mile-long holiday lights extravaganza at the Tall Pines Players Club in Friendsville. The light trail leads to Santa’s Workshop, an open fire, s’mores and snacks.

2nd Annual Light Up Campus at Marywood University
Daily through January 10
Gather up the kids and take a drive through Marywood University’s Christmas display. Tune in to the college’s radio station at 91.7 for non-stop holiday tunes. This event is free and open to the public.

Daily Through December 31
Enjoy a spectacular Christmas tradition that spans over 70 years at this festive celebration on Market Street in Berwick. Take in the holiday lights, trees, winter scenes and more.

Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg is flipping the switch on their first-ever drive-through Christmas light display. Over 400 light-up pieces will turn the park and campground into a winter wonderland.
