Keep the Holiday Cheer Going with Light Shows, Christmas Markets, and More
The holidays are here in NEPA, and this weekend we’ve got lots of Christmas magic for the whole family! Markets, tree displays, and light shows are just some of the happenings to kick off this new month. Aside from the holiday cheer, we have visits from multiple comedians at the F.M. Kirby Center that will leave you crying laughing!

Christmas in Our Hometown
Friday, December 2 & Saturday December 3
Celebrate the magic of Christmas with Tunkhannock’s annual community event! Christmas in our Hometown is about spending time with those you love during the cheeriest time of year. You won’t want to miss out on the holiday activities for the whole family.

Festival of Trees
Friday, December 2 & Saturday, December 3
This annual display of Christmas trees is decorated by community organizations, local businesses, and schools to raise money for Toys for Tots! These beautiful, live Christmas trees will be displayed on Courthouse Square in Scranton all season long.
Festival of Trees runs through January 7, 2023.

2nd Annual Northeastern PA Christmas Trail
Friday, December 2 – Sunday, December 4 at 10 a.m.
Support local and small businesses this weekend at Rohrbach’s Farm Market, Bakery & Barn Loft in Catawissa! This second annual event will include lots of shopping, food, wine, music & much more.

Lackawanna Winter Market
Friday, December 2 at 5 p.m. / Saturday, December 3 & Sunday, December 4 at 11 a.m.
Stop by the Square in Scranton for a winter event you won’t want to miss! 50 small businesses await, so you’ll have lots of opportunities to get that holiday shopping squared away. There will also be magical carriage rides, lots of treats, alpacas to pet, music, and more.

Opening Reception to Arthur Dworin Exhibition
Friday, December 2 at 6 p.m.
The Hazleton Art League is highlighting multimedia artist, Arthur Dworin! Dworin’s main media is self-oxidized bronze patina which he uses to create geometric shapes off the surface of his works. This exhibit brings attention to the energy inside and outside of ourselves.

Steve-O: The Bucket List Tour
Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m.
Comedic legend, Steve O has quite the show in store at the Kirby Center. From stunts to multimedia comedy, this will be a performance you won’t want to miss. Keep in mind, this show is for adult audience only, so keep the kiddos at home.

Christmas at Eckley
Saturday, December 3 & Sunday, December 4 at 10 a.m.
Stop by the Eckley Miners’ Village in Weatherly for a Christmas event for the whole family! You won’t want to miss out on food and craft vendors, cultural displays, and much more. There will also be cheery, festive music playing throughout the whole day.

Berwick's Christmas Boulevard
Saturday, December 3 & Sunday, December 4 at 6 p.m.
Berwick’s Christmas Boulevard hosts thousands of visitors throughout the whole month of December! This show is notably the oldest and one of the most beautiful light shows in the whole state. Trees, lights, and characters await this drive-thru experience.
Berwick’s Christmas Boulevard runs through Saturday, December 31.

Saint Nick's Display
Saturday, December 3 & Sunday, December 4 at 6 p.m.
This free walk-through display has so many lights to take in! You’ll definitely want to add this experience to that NEPA holiday bucket list. Donations at Saint Nick’s Display are happily accepted to help pay for the high electric bill.
Saint Nick’s Display runs through January 2, 2023.

Chelsea Handler
Sunday, December 4 at 7 p.m.
Comedian, television host, and best-selling author are just a few professions celebrity, Chelsea Handler has under her belt. This show at the F.M. Kirby Center will leave you laughing and feeling inspired by Handler’s story. You won’t want to miss out on this experience.
