Set your sights on Christmas all weekend at Festival of Lights on the gorgeous grounds at Stone Hedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock. On Saturday or Sunday, get to the Shawnee Inn for some wild murder mystery dinner theater.
Gear up for a weekend of holiday shopping at a pair of pop-up markets on Saturday and Sunday. First, stop by Wilkes-Barre’s Wyoming Valley Mall for their Fall into the Holidays Craft Market. Then, pick up on serious Christmas vibes at the Waverly Community House during The Artisans’ Outdoor Marketplace. And, on Sunday, treat yourself to a Champagne Brunch at the Settlers Inn in Hawley.
If you’re looking to truly get into the spirit of the season, volunteer a little time and muscle on Saturday morning to help Light Up Downtown Pittston.
Bonus (non-weekend event) – Get out and support local restaurants, enjoy a delicious meal and help the next generation of culinary creatives at Rally for Restaurants. Local chefs and students team up to present an evening of refined, elegant dining at Lackawanna College on Tuesday, November 24.
