Blitzen
Friday, November 17 – 19 at 4 p.m.
Blitzen is back as one of Scranton’s favorite holiday pop-up bars, so don’t miss their opening weekend. This festive experience brings you winter cocktails and the story of Santa’s least favorite reindeer at 409 Adams Ave.
Blitzen runs every Thursday through Sunday until December 23.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Spend an ominous evening being transported to the cold streets of Victorian London with this thrilling production of the dark Sondheim classic by the students at Scranton Preparatory School in Scranton.

Soaring Eagles 5K Walk/Run

Bundle up and head to Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre for this annual 5K Walk/Run to benefit the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council, Boy Scouts of America’s Brian H. Swatt Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship.

The Santa Parade

The Santa Parade in Scranton is a tradition to usher in the holiday season each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The parade’s route starts at the intersection between Franklin Ave. and Biden St.

Cider Tour

Indraloka Animal Sanctuary in Dalton is hosting a cider tour of their farm land. Sip cider, snuggle goats, and enjoy the beautiful foliage. Bring treats like apples or leftover Halloween pumpkins to give to the animals, while you enjoy some cider and beautiful autumn foliage.

Wilkes-Barre’s Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, November 18 at 3 p.m.
Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Wilkes-Barre at the popular annual Christmas Parade. Enjoy exciting floats, marching bands, live music, vendors and finish it all off by stopping on Public Square for the Tree Lighting and maybe a Santa spotting.
