Then, make your way to Tunkhannock’s Dietrich Theater for some incredibly cool science at the Glow Show. And, don’t miss the amazing deals on clothes and more at the Just Between Friends Winter Kid’s Sale inside the Wyoming Valley Mall.
Enjoy a little grown-up fun on Friday night at The Unluckiest Drag Show at the Ritz in Scranton. And, be sure to bring your loose-fitting pants and dancing shoes to Benny Brewing on Saturday for their annual Polkafest.
Burn off some of those extra weekend calories at a 5K for a good cause on the grounds of the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg on Saturday. Or, bring those running shoes to Freeland for the 15th annual YMCA Run for the Children. Grab your bike and head to Groove Brewing in Scranton on Saturday or Sunday for the always-exciting Cranksgiving canned food drive, scavenger hunt and group ride.
Bonus (non-weekend event) – Get out and support local restaurants, enjoy a delicious meal and help the next generation of culinary creatives at Rally for Restaurants. Local chefs and students team up to present an evening of refined, elegant dining at Lackawanna College on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Quiet Valley’s 5K Rooster Run

Lace up your running shoes and hit the trail to support Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg. The 5K run/ walk will feature staggered start times to allow for social distancing and top finisher prizes will be awarded via mail.
Freeland YMCA Run for the Children

Grab your running shoes and hustle down to the 15th Annual Freeland YMCA 5K Run/Walk. Take on the moderate course through the streets of Freeland. The event also features a Kids Fun Run for children 12 and under.

Come learn all about fluorescent rocks and minerals at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock. Naturalist Rick Koval will explain the science behind glow-in-the-dark rocks and bring along some cool examples. Due to limited seating, reservations are encouraged for this free event.
