Fall Arrives with a Weekend Full of Baseball, Wine, Live Music and the Bloomsburg Fair

Catch a little fall ball this weekend as the RailRiders take on the Syracuse Mets at PNC Field. Head out to Montage Mountain Resorts on Saturday and sip your way through their annual Fall Wine Festival. And, on Sunday, stop by the LSEO Building in Wilkes-Barre for the quirky Oddities & Delights Craft Fair.

Check out Scranton’s performing arts scene in unique, pop-up shows on some of the city’s most unconventional stages during Fringe Under Glass. Hop on the famous Stourbridge Line in Honesdale for a scenic, 1.5-hour excursion on the Foliage Express. Bring the bike out on Sunday for a great cause during the non-competitive Tour de Scranton.

Spend Friday night up in the trees at Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton for their popular Night Time Zip & Climb. Bring the kids and a few blankets to Pittston’s Slope Amphitheater on Saturday night for the city’s Free Outdoor Movie. Then, head to Karl Hall in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday to catch live, local music in the venue’s Out Back concert series.

It just wouldn’t be late September in NEPA without a visit to one of the largest fairs in the state. Get to the Bloomsburg Fair all week for live music, midway games, rides, animals and, of course, plenty of that famous fair food.
