First Annual Oktoberfest
Thursday, September 15 at 1 p.m. – Sunday, September 18 at 11 a.m.
Germany is coming to the lake this weekend at the Wake Zone, Wallenpaupack Brewing’s newest taproom location. Celebrate Oktoberfest with German beers and flatbread features, tournaments on their virtual green, live music and much more!
The NEPA Fair
Thursday, September 15 at 4 p.m. – Sunday, September 18 at 6 a.m.
The Circle Drive-In in Dickson City is hosting The NEPA Fair, a family-friendly event for guests of all ages! Admission includes free rides, movies, and a packed schedule of exclusive musical performances. You can also enjoy the beer tent, food vendors, games and much more.
SWB RailRiders vs. Worchester Red Sox

Pizza and Paddle
Friday, September 16 at 5 p.m.
Gather your friends and meet up at Susquehanna Kayak and Canoe Rentals in Falls for an experience like no other! First at 5:00, you’ll launch from West Falls, and start your 2.5 hour adventure to Apple Tree launch in Harding. Once you arrive in Harding, delicious pizza slices and beer await your arrival.
Multicultural Parade & Festival
Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m.
Celebrate different cultures in downtown Wilkes-Barre this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Catch the parade at the intersection of South Main Street and South Streets, then continue the fun with the Multicultural festival right after on Public Square.
Fall Kick Off
Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m.
Kick off fall the right way at Rohrbach’s Farm in Catawissa with a corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkin, an apple slingshot and much more! Check out their food stand with fresh apple dumplings, ice cream, and hot apple cider. Also, Big Dan’s BBQ will be dishing out slow-smoked treats and Freas Farm Winery and Turkey Hill Brewing will be serving up delicious beverages.

Enjoy live speakers and recorded TED Talks at the TEDxScranton event at Lackawanna College. TED’s goal is to discover “ideas worth spreading.” Each speaker is passionate about the local area and their area of expertise. Join in on these inspiring talks, get motivated, and learn something new.

Paint the Night Pink
Saturday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Launch a pink lantern into the sky at Pittston Area High School to help fund cancer research. Paint the Night Pink is part of the 9th annual Paint Pittston Pink initiative striving to find a cure for all types of cancer through research and clinical trials. Come out with friends and family to help support.
