Squeeze in Another Summer Weekend with Fairs & Festivals, RailRiders Baseball, Bike Rides and So Much More

Start your weekend with food, music and fun in Dallas during the annual Luzerne County Fair. Stop by the F.M Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Friday to catch the epic, Gone with the Wind on the big screen. Bring the little ones to the Outreach Community Center in Scranton on Saturday for an up-close look at 30 different future jobs during their Children’s Career Fair.

Don’t miss one of the last chances to see the RailRiders in action all week as they take on the Rochester Red Wings in 6 straight home games. Bring the whole family out to the Fleetville Fall Fair on Saturday morning for food, fun and games all day. Then, head to Pocono Raceway in Long Pond on Saturday and Sunday night for the unforgettable Night Lights Sky Lantern Festival.

Get to Downtown Pittston on Friday night for the city’s popular Art Walk featuring local artists, vendors and so much more. Show the kids what life was like in the 1800s on a tour of the farm at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg on Saturday. Then, make your way to Karl Hall in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday for some live, local music during the venue’s Out Back concert series.

Hit the road for a great cause on Sunday during the 12th Annual Spencer Martin Memorial Bike Ride through the Back Mountain. The 35-mile ride benefits Wyoming Valley Habitat for Humanity.
