Make the Most of Another Hot August Weekend with Live Music, Outdoor Adventures and a Round of Night Golf
When it comes to late summer fun, getting outside is the name of the game. Tee off at Shadowbrook Golf Course in Tunkhannock on Friday night for a round of Glowball. Wake up and chill on Saturday at Wilkes-Barre’s River Common for a little Riverfront Yoga. Hook up with Pocono Biking and venture onto the famous D& L Trail after dark on Saturday for a tranquil Twilight ride. And cap it all off on Sunday with an all-encompassing, all-day adventure with Pocono Whitewater.
Bring the kids to the Coach Barn at The Lands at Hillside Farms for a free, Friday evening showing of Charlotte’s Web. Saturday offers options to catch the iconic Rolling Stones live on the big screen at the Circle Drive-In. Or, head to the Mahoning Drive-In for a weekend of wild wrestling-themed fun. Finish the weekend with a free, Sunday jazz concert at Scranton’s Nay Aug Park.
Get a glimpse of Pittston’s artistic side at the city’s popular Second Friday Art Walk. And fill up the pantry with farm-fresh goodies at Lakeland Orchard & Cidery’s incredible U-Pick Produce event all weekend long.
And don’t forget, for all of our friends, families and neighbors, continue observing all recommended health and safety precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
