NEPA Weekend Round-Up 07.17.20

Sit Back & Enjoy the Show (At a Safe Social Distance, Of Course)

Live shows are back in NEPA, and this weekend boasts a full line-up. Rockin’ the County will bring a parade-style concert through the streets of Hazleton, while Glass in Hawley will host Blues, Brews & BBQ on the patio. The tribute band Almost Queen and comedian Jim Gaffigan will bring drive-in shows to the parking lot at Mohegan Sun Arena. For a little old-fashioned fun, visit the Music in the Valley celebration at Quiet Valley in Stroudsburg.

Go ahead and geek out this weekend. Bring your little Stars Wars fans for games and crafts at “May the Force Be With You” Day at The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum. Or catch two nights of movies and magic at Medieval Mahoning at the Mahoning Drive-In Theater.

Summer is flying by, so take advantage of these precious, sunny days with an outdoor adventure. Explore two rail trails in one day with Pocono Biking’s Twin Trail Ride. Join Pocono Whitewater’s Big Day Out for an action-packed day of biking, hiking and rafting.

And don’t forget, for all of our friends, families and neighbors, continue observing all recommended health and safety precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
