Get your weekend started right with a trip to Hazleton for the Mountain City’s popular First Friday celebration. On Saturday, stop by Montage Mountain Resorts in Scranton for the annual Spring Wine Festival. Then, head to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre to catch the Penguins in their final home game of the season.

Memorial High School in Wilkes-Barre as the Wolfpack Players present All Shook Up! Then, make your way to the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe for an unforgettable scenic train ride through Lehigh Gorge State Park.

The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce hosts this family-friendly block party featuring live music, shopping, kid’s activities, food and so much more. The party kicks off downtown on Friday and runs through Saturday.
Observe Scranton Festival

Celebrate the life and legacy of renowned, Scranton-born author and city activist, Jane Jacobs. The five-day event features book signings, readings, walks, story slam and more, and it coincides with First Friday events.

Fairy Tale Brunch

The kids can meet and greet their favorite characters at The Ritz Theater in Scranton. Special guests include princesses, Mary Poppins and Peter Pan. They’ll also have performances, crafts, photo ops, sing-a-longs and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Vs The Binghamton Devils
