NEPA Weekend Round-Up 04.02.21

Celebrate Springtime with Easter Fun, Art Walks, Live Music & More

We’re cruising into the holiday weekend with tons of Easter activities. Hop onboard the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway for a ride on the Easter Bunny Train, where the Bunny himself will be there to meet and greet the kids. On Saturday, take the family to Tunkhannock for the Easter Egg Drive-By, or gather up some friends for the adults-only Easter Cork Hunt at Mountain View Vineyard in Stroudsburg. And skip all the cooking on Sunday, because The Settlers Inn in Hawley is serving a farm-to-table Easter Dinner.

The warm, sunny days mean that outdoor events are making a comeback. Spend the weekend at the horse races at Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre, or shop local at the Main Street Farmers Market in Honesdale. And take advantage of the longer days to stroll around at art walks like First Friday Hazleton and First Friday Scranton.

Kick back this weekend with some live, socially distant music. Jingo, the ultimate Santana tribute, will play all the legendary hits at Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe this Friday. On Saturday, Kol Steakhouse is hosting Jazz Fest Night with a New Orleans flair.
