Only in NEPA Will You Get a Weekend Full of Easter Eggs, Paintballs, Trout and Trains
Start your weekend with a hilarious Hypnotist Dinner on Friday night at Silver Birches in Hawley. Get the little ones all dressed up in their Easter outfits for the Conyngham Civic Organization’s Easter Egg Hunt. Then, stop by the Scranton Tomorrow office on Sunday and help out with their Downtown Spring Clean-Up.
Bring you’re A-game to Skirmish Paintball in Albrightsville on Saturday for their 38th Anniversary celebration. Then, make your way to the Stourbridge Line in Honesdale for a fun-filled ride on their famous Easter Egg Express. On Sunday, swing by the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre to pick up your delicious drive-thru dinner during their CYC March Madness event.
Celebrate the beautiful colors of spring on Saturday morning at the Everhart Museum in Scranton during the Art in Bloom exhibit. Load up the car and head to the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe to hop aboard the popular Easter Bunny Train. Later, fill your belly with signature, hand-crafted burgers and craft beer at Here & Now Brewing in Honesdale as they host their Benny Benton Beef, Burger & Beer Bar.
Get outside on Saturday morning for a little trout fishing during the PA Fish and Boat Commission’s annual Mentored Youth Trout Day.

Join Silver Birches in Hawley for a night of fine food and hilarious fun. You’ll enjoy a four-course dinner, followed by a performance by comedian and hypnotist Denny More.

Mentored Youth Trout Day
Saturday, March 27 at 8 a.m.
Grab some bait and bring your young anglers out to any PA Trout Stocked waters for a jump start on the 2021 trout fishing season. Mentors will need a current PA fishing license and trout stamp. Youth Anglers will need a youth permit or Voluntary Youth License.

Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 27 at 9 a.m.
Join the Conyngham Civic Organization at Whispering Willows Park in Conyngham for their first annual Easter Egg Hunt. Hunts are divided into three separate age groups. The event also includes an Easter Bonnet and Easter Tie Contest.

Skirmish Paintball 38th Anniversary
Saturday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m.
Gear up and get to Skirmish in Albrightsville to help the famed venue celebrate 38 years as the region’s leader in all things paintball. During the event, players will receive up to 300 free paintballs. Basic paintball package rates apply.

Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m.
View the Everhart Museum’s stunning art collection like never before. This unique event displays fresh floral interpretations of the museum’s most beloved exhibits. The exhibit also features a chance for visitors to vote on their favorite piece.

Easter Egg Express
Saturday, March 27 & Sunday, March 28 at 10 a.m./1 p.m./4 p.m.
Take the kids for a ride down the Bunny Trail with the Stourbridge Line in Honesdale. This two-hour trip includes a stop for an egg hunt and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

Easter Bunny Trains
Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m. & Sunday, March 28 at 11 a.m./1 p.m./3 p.m.
All aboard for a fun, family-friendly ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe. The kids will get to meet the Easter Bunny, while parents can soak up the springtime scenery of the Pocono Mountains.

CYC March Madness
Wednesday, March 24 – Sunday, March 28 at 9 a.m. — Online Auction
Sunday, March 28 — Drive Thru Dinner (scheduled pickup times)Add a delicious boxed dinner and a little competitive bidding to your Final Four tournament watch party, all while benefitting a great NEPA nonprofit. The online auction runs throughout the week and boxed dinners will be picked up on Sunday.

Sunday, March 28 at 12 p.m.
Do your part to make Downtown Scranton beautiful. Stop by Scranton Tomorrow’s offices on Linden Street to pitch in during their first spring clean-up of the season. Work gloves and masks required.
