Bring on Spring with a Weekend Full of Epic Paintball, a Little Shopping and Plenty of Kid-Friendly Fun
Drop the kids at Camp Orchard Hill on Friday for tons of fun activities and plan that well-deserved Parents’ Night Out. Head to Skirmish Paintball in Albrightsville on Saturday morning for Stalingrad XV, their epic, annual WWII-inspired battle. Swing by Scranton all weekend for Porch-Fest, the city’s creative substitute for the St. Paddy’s Day Parade.
Grab the kids and venture to the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry for Salamanders, Frogs and More. On Sunday, hit the Susquehanna Warrior Trail for the popular Winter’s End 4.5-Mile Run.
Get in a little spring shopping on Saturday at Kingston’s Jewish Community Center during their Indoor Marketplace. Look out for the Easter Bunny, plenty of treats and activities at the Actors Guild of Schuylkill County’s Drive by Egging on Saturday. Enjoy a little grown-up fun all weekend long with some Live Harness Racing at Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre.
Bring the family to Cooper’s Seafood House in Scranton on Sunday for a festive Brunch with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy kids activities, treat-filled baskets and special table visits from the Easter Bunny.

Kid-Approved Parents’ Night Out
Friday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m.
Camp Orchard Hill in Dallas is hosting a night of pizza, games and fun for children ages 4-13. The kids will have a blast while you get some well-deserved “me time.” Health screenings are required at check-in, and COVID precautions are in place.

Bring the little ones down to the Actors Guild of Schuylkill County for this one-of-a-kind Easter-inspired event. Purchase a chance to pick a “lucky egg.” Enjoy baked goods, candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Saturday, March 20 through Sunday, March 28 at 12 p.m.
Swing by the Electric City to witness Scranton’s famous dedication to St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Throughout the city, porches, yards, storefronts and more will be transformed into St. Paddy’s “parade” floats.

Bring the kids to search for some cool creatures at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry. You’ll learn all about amphibians, then head into the woods to find them in the wild.

Live Harness Racing

The horses are back at Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre. Stop by all weekend to watch the thrilling, live races, pick a winner and enjoy casino dining. The event includes free parking and free admission.

Winter’s End 4.5-Mile Run

Dust off those sneakers for the season. The Wyoming Valley Striders are kicking off their first race of the year on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail. The race will chip-timed with a staggered start.
